Cambridge University: Research Coordinator (Part Time)

Salary: £22,332-£25,135 pa, pro rata

A versatile Research Coordinator is sought to work on a new £3.8m project funded by the EPSRC Sustainable Urban Environments (SUE2) programme. It includes six university partners led by the University of Cambridge, several non academic partners and overseas collaboration. It will research how an integrated spatial planning and design for buildings, energy, transport, water, and waste could reduce environmental impacts. The role of the project Research Coordinator is to assist the Project Manager by taking responsibility for the day-to-day project administration, organisation and communications. It will require initiative and a proactive approach to encourage the organisations to carry out agree actions on time whilst maintaining good working relationships with the project partners.
Qualifications: A good general education to A level standard, (or equivalent), good organisational, interpersonal, and team-working skills, with office computer experience and an aptitude to use databases and spreadsheets, (software training provided). A general interest in research and sustainability issues would be an advantage.
