I took a quick look at your website. I wasn't aware of your blog before; but, I'm very happy to have discovered it. There really ought to be a place to gather all of this thinking about new media and public space.
We have been dealing with it in a piecemeal way for the past year. Professor Tom Barker (www.smartslab.co.uk/) and Jason Bruges (www.jasonbruges.com/) spoke last year. We just had Theo Spyropoulis (www.minimaforms.com) and Usman Haque (www.haque.co.uk/)
Its an area of public art that needs a theoretical discussion alongside the advances in technology. The Digital Cities exhibition at the building center started this; but, didn't make too much headway, in my oppinion. I would be glad to hear more of your thoughts. Do you also practice in art or architecture?
Let us know if there are any interresting events coming up. Feel free to add them to our events diary: http://artandarchitecture.co.uk/events (or send a link to Thierry Bidet, who looks after our communications: )
